If you already have a dedicated page for customer reviews you can use that page or create a new one.
To create a new page, log in to your Squarespace admin panel and from the main menu select Pages, click on "+". Name the created page, for example: “Customer Reviews”.

Now, if you have the page created, click on the “EDIT” button to edit the page, then you will need to click on the “+” (Pin. 1), to add a “Code” block, select it from the pop-up menu (Pin. 2).

In the "Code" block, you will need to add the Wiremo loading code (here you will find more information regarding the Wiremo loading code).
Here is an example of the modified Wiremo loading code:

Note:To show all your reviews from your website, use the * symbol for the:
data-review-source="*"
Or, you can select which reviews to display, by product ID for example:

Replace the URL to the URL of your "Customer Reviews" page that you have created:
data-product-url="https://mywebsitename/customer-reviews"

Modify the Wiremo loading code and place it in the "Code" block (Pin. 3), do not forget to SAVE the changes (Pin. 4).

Check if your reviews are displaying, by accessing your created “Customer Reviews” page in a private or incognito window where you are not logged in your Squarespace admin panel.

Google Shopping Feed

Google Shopping Feed is a great way to showcase the ratings and reviews you collected with Wiremo to further encourage your potential customers who are looking for a relevant or similar product on Google!

Before starting, you will need a Google Merchant account and you can create it by accessing the Google Merchant Center.

Google's Requirements

Google has tight guidelines on how to integrate reviews into Google Shopping and the steps involved. You must be able to meet the following requirements:

You must have a minimum of 50 reviews in your Product Ratings feed.
You are required to share all your product reviews with Google, including low-star reviews.
Your reviews must not infringe on other people's intellectual property, be offensive, or spammy.
Reviews must include quality text, low-quality reviews may not be displayed.
Retailers should be in charge of collecting and owning review feeds.
Feeds can contain images owned and submitted by users for product reviews.

Important:Wiremo generates an XML feed containing all approved reviews. Google will manually assess your submission and, at its sole discretion, may decline to integrate the feed if you only allow 4 or 5-star ratings and hide lower-rated reviews. To address any bad reviews, we recommend approving all reviews and adding public replies. The Google policy can be found here in its entirety.

How To Setup The Products Feed

The Products and Reviews feed URL can be obtained from Wiremo's dashboard - Customize - Google Shopping Feed:

Setting up your Product feed in Google Merchant Center can be as easy as the following simple steps:

Login to your Google Merchant account.
Click on "Products - Feeds", and start adding the basic information about your Product Feed and click - Continue.

Name your feed (for example: Wiremo products feed) then choose “Scheduled fetch” as the input method and click - Continue.

On the final step, enter or select the following options, then click on the "Create feed" button:
- File name: Enter any name of your choice that will easily identify the feed
- Fetch frequency: Select, Daily
- Fetch time: Set 12:00 AM
- File URL: (Paste the Products feed URL from your Wiremo dashboard - Customize - Google Shopping Feed)
- Username: (leave this field empty)
- Password: (leave this field empty)

On the next page click on "Fetch now" to pull in the latest review feed into the account.

How To Setup The Reviews Feed

Setting up your Reviews feed in Google Merchant Center can be as easy as following simple steps:

Log in to Google Merchant Center
Click on "Marketing - Product Reviews" on the menu of the left, and select "Product reviews feed"

Important:If "Marketing" option is not available in your Google Merchant Center (GMC)? Go to the Product Ratings Interest Form and fill in your information.

Enter or select the following options:
- Primary feed name: Wiremo Reviews
- Select "Scheduled fetch" on the radio options
- Click on the "CONTINUE" button

On the final step, enter or select the following options, then click on the "Create feed" button:
- File name: Enter any name of your choice that will easily identify the feed
- Fetch frequency: Select, Daily
- Fetch time: Set 12:00 AM
- File URL: (Paste the Reviews feed URL from your Wiremo dashboard - Customize - Google Shopping Feed)
- Username: (leave this field empty)
- Password: (leave this field empty)

There are two types of Review Request emails that can be sent to your customers: "In-Email" or "On-Landing".

In-Email - by using this type of campaign you can ask your customers to submit their reviews directly in the email window.When a review request email arrives, the customer chooses the rating (Pin 1) and below writes the review text (Pin 2), directly in the email, then clicks on the "Submit review" button (Pin 3). On the next page, the customer can see the review already left (Pin 4).

On-Landing - by using this type of campaign you redirect your customers from the email form to a specific landing page with your logo where they can submit reviews. This template is recommended if most of your customers are using outlook.com or hotmail.com email clients. Outlook web version and outlook mobile apps do not support in-email forms.When a review request email arrives, the customer chooses the rating (Pin 5) and it's redirected to a landing page where writes the review text (Pin 6), then clicks on the "Submit" button (Pin 7). On the next page, the customer can see the review already left (Pin 8).

Both types of campaigns require setting up a Wiremo plugin for your eCommerce platform, so later you could refer to the created campaign.

To create an email template, go to the Wiremo Dashboard, then from the main menu find Review Request -> Automated RR and press the "New Template" button. For more details please read our setup tutorial: How to create an email template for automated review request .

How to Migrate Reviews From Woocommerce to Shopify

If you are moving your website from WooCommerce to Shopify you can easily migrate your existing reviews. Login to Dashboard and go to Reviews (pin 1). In the right corner of the tabs press on the "Migrate Reviews" button (pin 2).

In the opened pop-up window, please fill in all the fields to be able to migrate your reviews:

“Old identifier”: Find it under your Wiremo Dashboard -> Reviews, click on the review you want to migrate, and then check the identifier.

The identifier can be either a product ID or a URL path:

Ex. 1458 or /shop/product1/

“New identifier”: Will be the Product ID of the product page you want to migrate the review(s).

Ex: 5500502737050

“New URL”: The URL where your review will be migrated. Ex:

https://website.com/products/bohemian-style
```

Note:For Shopify products the identifier is the “Product ID”. If you migrate reviews to a non-product page use URL path as identifier.

To find your Shopify Product ID go to your Shopify admin page and click on Products

Select the product in your Shopify store you want to migrate review to (pin 4)

Go to the URL at the top and copy the number that comes after ‘…/products/’ as it is marked in the screenshot below. Use this product ID as an identifier for this product page.

Go to your Wiremo Dashboard, click on Tools, and select Carousels. To create a new carousel, click on the “+Add carousel” button (Pin. 1).

Now you have to choose the carousel design and adjust the carousel settings. We’ve created the carousel’s design adjustment and settings steps to make it a child’s play. You can edit every single element of your carousel.

Final Steps

After saving the carousel changes, you will get two small blocks with code. You will need to add them to your Squarespace. Copy the first code (script).

Now, login to your Squarespace admin panel, go to Settings -> Advanced -> Code Injection, and paste the first code (script) in “FOOTER” (Pin. 2) and SAVE changes.

Copy the second (div) code, and place it where you’d like the Wiremo Carousel to be displayed.

Go to the Squarespace main menu and click on “Pages” then select the page where you want the Wiremo Carousel to be displayed (Pin. 3) and also click on “Edit” (Pin. 4) for the selected banner to be able to add the code (div).

Click on the “+” (Pin. 5) to add a “Code” block.

Find the "Code" block (Pin. 6) and click on it.

How to Exclude Products From Review Requests in Wiremo Squarespace Plugin

To access and moderate the Exclusions option, go to your Wiremo Dashboard -> Install Wiremo -> Only for Squarespace users -> Squarespace plugin settings and click on the Exclusions tab.

Now you need a “Squarespace Inventory API” key. You can create it in your Squarespace dashboard.

Create a Squarespace Inventory API key

To create a Squarespace Inventory API key, please log in to the Squarespace dashboard and go to "Settings -> Advanced -> Developer API Keys". Then press the "GENERATE KEY" button (pin 1).

Now type a name for your key, for example, "Exclusions Key" (pin 2) and tick on the "Inventory" checkbox. Then select the “Read Only” option (pin 3) and click on the "GENERATE KEY" button (pin 4).

In the next window copy the generated key.

Note:To keep your data secure, you won’t be able to access this key again once this dialog is closed.

Enable Exclusions in the Wiremo plugin for Squarespace

Go back to the Squarespace plugin setup page. Click here to get there faster. Paste the copied Inventory API Key code to the "Squarespace Inventory API key" field (pin 5). Then from the drop-down menu (pin 6) select the products for which you do not want to send a review request.

Important:Don't forget to click the "SAVE" button to apply changes.

Note:You can remove the products you've already selected or add others!

Important:Exclusions will not work for an active Past Order Review Request campaign. To enable this option you will need to create a new campaign.

For the Automated Review Request, exclusions will take effect only for further requests.
